We spent our lives on the water looking for a hat that could keep up. When we couldn't find one, we stopped looking and started building.

We didn't start a hat company. We solved a problem.

We grew up fishing the Northeast: back bays for fluke, offshore runs for bluefin. Every season, we watched countless hats fall victim to the elements. Saltwater stiffened the brims. Sweat stained the bands. A gust sent one overboard and it was ruined.

We tried everything on the market. Nothing was built for the way we fished and lived. So in 2020, we built it ourselves. Salt Mafia is the result: uncompromising headwear designed for the life we live.
